Hi Allison,
My short story 'To Cook an Egg Gently' just won Third Prize in Glimmer Train's Very Short Fiction Award. Of course, the 300 clams are Very Much Appreciated.
Later,
James

And then later that very same day:
Yay!
My poem, The Broken Cookies, has been shortlisted for Arc's Poem of the Year Award (Canada). In addition to being in the running for the $1500 First Prize, The Broken Cookies is also up for the Reader's Choice Award. These poems will be posted on the Arc website next week, and readers will be able to read the poems and vote; I won't ask that anyone do so, but c'mon, help a Canadian out, eh.
I humbly thank Allison and her workshop for their help and guidance.
Ding-a-ling-ding-ding,
James
