The English Department at SIU Carbondale seeks applications to fill a faculty
position at the level of tenure-track Assistant Professor in fiction writing for
the Creative Writing Program. Candidates must possess an earned MFA or PhD in
fiction writing or a related field, a record of national publications, and
teaching experience. Principal responsibilities include teaching undergraduate
and graduate level courses, maintaining a successful publication record in the
area of expertise, and serving on departmental, college, and/or university
